History
Western Technical Services, Inc. opened its doors in 1998, primarily as a company developing NRC and Facility Audit examinations. Work on what would eventually become Nu-SEC exam generation software began in 2004 as a random outline generator to facilitate the company’s large volume of work. In 2008, looking for even more efficiency, the test item bank was added and a process developed to access those test items was created. Fast forward to present day and Nu-SEC contains over 36,000 total test items in a robust SQL database, with the means to quickly find test items to suit user requirements, modify or create new questions, create reports, and export in multiple formats. Truly a tool that was created specifically for exam developers by the industry’s most active exam developers with more than 125 contracted exams since 1998.
